Fun: When you stay in the Little Niangua Nature Cabin, it’s pretty much required that you have some Fun! You’re bound to find some as you sense the sights, sounds, textures, fragrances and maybe some tastes that the Ozark woodlands and streams offer!
We encourage you to discover and study the many plants and animals of the natural community here and absorb the energy that permeates the woodlands and the stream. It’s amazing how many small fish you’ll see if you sit next to the stream quietly and just watch who’s moving in the riffles and shallows! You can see seven species of darters, minnows, chubs, stonerollers, red-bellied dace, shiners and then there’s the bigger fish like perch, sunfish, large and smallmouth bass, and channel catfish! Holy Cow!
